Herd Mentality

Was having a great chat with Max and one particular topic discussed explained the term ‘herd mentality’ aptly.

When there are mega sales at the shopping malls, everyone will rush to fill up the parking lots and some more. Many even take leaves from their work just so that they can get the really good deals.

When the blue chips or real estate prices took a real beating, everyone would stay away. (And actually wait for it to peak before going in.)

That, my friend, is the power of herd mentality.

    That's so true bro, i remember few months ago, when Resort (Now GEM M) took a beating, i told my friend i would sure go and buy a few lots, when it below RM2, when it finally did, never bought and now it is at RM2.90 ++++.

    When was a sales, i should mark one, then i rushed to buy a few nice shirts after 50% off.

    By the way bro, be careful about the sales, some will mark up their prices higher than normal than they give discount, i kena before,,,,,,not to mention name, but a famous local shoe maker,,,,,
