		<description>Hah...mtsen, I agree that sales is important, since no business can ever operate without making any profits.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;However, I believe in the measurement of activities that leads to a sale, much more than just looking at the sales figure alone, simply because to make a sale, there are many factors involved before the transaction is made.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It could be due to the emotional factors, or the level of professionalism involved, or simply because I was just a more convenient candidate. The opposite is also true, where a sale might not happen due to various reasons and it would be good if we can actually measure these failures if we had a clear measurements of our own activities, whereby we have a better control over.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;On the other extreme, if sales is the only measurement (I know this is not what you meant, but just to illustrate the point), it&#039;s likely to lead to compromises on ethics and values which could be much more valuable in the long scheme of things.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In my opinion, the end should not justify the means.</description>
