Public Bank’s Visa Electron and PayPal

I called Public Bank (as suggested by you clever bloggers, thank you!) and found out that there must always be a balance of RM25 in the card. I loaded it with RM30 and that means that I can only charge a maximum of RM5 to my card. Any transaction with an amount that will eat into the balance of RM25 on the card will not go through. Since Paypal charges US$1.95 for the linking process, it is equivalent to RM6.80. I only have RM5 available in my credit card and thus, I was unable to complete the transaction required by Paypal. I made a run to top up the card and have now successfully linked the card to Paypal.

    haha…so you must MYR35 inside debit card account just in case…but it will return you money after 1 month once you have verified the paypal…

    These people who designed the transaction flow should realize the importance of notifying errors with proper descriptions. Would have save many people the trouble and time.

    from my understanding, Public Bank is available for us to withdraw the money from Paypal?
    it takes about 5-7 working days to transfer the money into my debit/credit card account after I verified my account from paypal?

    If i were to add my Public Bank Visa electron to Paypal. I need to put my billing address. How can I add malaysia address since the “state” is not one of our choice from malaysia. I need help. Thank you.
