Each day you wake up, you are most likely heading off to work, to earn some money to buy food, pay off the bills, and probably a little extra at the end of the day for a movie.
At some point in the day, the thought of building something valuable crosses your mind, but it somehow just lingered there for a few miliseconds before some “important work” comes along.
It’s that little voice that keeps telling you to do something you really love that would make the biggest difference in your life. The sad thing is, most of us discard them and mentally label these voices as distractions.
The voice that tells you to start writing the first chapter of your horror fiction, or the voice that tells you about the opportunities of starting up an online business selling cup cakes- they are all the same. They are asking you to build a little value everyday for yourself. Not for your boss or for your friends or family. Something you know you could pat yourself on the back once those accumulated little values adds up.
Build something worthy and valuable, one day at a time. It adds up.
The problem is, most of the time, we are too distracted to listen.
