EON Bank – We Focus On You

Yeah… and on this lovely Monday morning, you let me waited 40 minutes on the phone before a fellow human being pick up the phone, and I was left hanging there listening to your on-hold music for the next 5 minutes. I asked for a few piece of simple information (like where my Finance branch is), and your staff gave me the wrong branch information. No wonder your staff is so busy.

And I have to call again. Another 40 minutes?

And your online complaint form doesn’t even work…so much for focusing on me.

  • I faced the exact same thing with TM Streamyx. I recently lodged a complaint ( after numerous tries ) to TM. I terminated my account and phone line last year in April. Suddenly at the beginning of this month, TM sends me a bill saying I owe them almost RM 200! Since then i've been trying to call their customer service and have always been put on hold. Usually I will wait no longer than 3 minutes and I will hang up. I waited about 10 minutes each time and I repeatedly tried to call in several times the following few weeks. Obviously their online form did not work either. After hitting the submit button, I was given an auto response saying the email no longer exists... and instead of notifying me and forwarding my email to the correct address, the system just left me hanging. Finally, using the correct email address, I sent them a complaint. The response I got from that email was,

    "Our system states your account is still active and we found there was a connection made after 28th April 2007. Please provide us with your termination slip for further action."

    Knowing that alot of people tend to throw away or even misplace their receipts... I cant help but wonder if its a company wide conspiracy to intentionally "forget" these important details. This is not the first time I've had trouble with TM. Some time after I terminated my phone line and streamyx account, I was given a letter informing me that I had not returned everything when I received my free phone. Why would I want to keep a phone or any part of it when I no longer use a land Line?

    I've already replied their customer email with a scanned copy of my termination slip. Now I'm waiting to see what excuse they will give me.
  • Yup, Zeke, I've given up hope on our national Broke-band.

    I've not heard of much of a good stuff coming from our "beloved" ISP. I'm not trying to stereotype all Government-linked agencies, but their quality of service leaves much to be desired. We really don't deserve such an ISP.

    If there's anything that can fix them up, it's a bit of real-world competition.

    haha. i remember during my first year in college in Melaka, i shared a house with my housemates, all below 18 except for one senior, who is final year student.
    That house used to have telephone line but the owner had terminate the service. So , we decide to resume back, using the senior's name coz he's above 18 and eligible to have an account under his name.
    guess wat, one year after the application, TM ppl came to my house and ask ""En. Kong ada kah? Dia apply telephone line kan?"
    We told him "Dia sudah grad la! Kami tak mau line la. Kami pun mau pindah la"

  • My personal experience with StreamyX was rather similar.

    In year 2003, while living in a condominium in Serdang, I applied for a StreamyX account.

    They told me that there's no more available port in my area.

    I waited 2 years. Yes, you read it right- TWO YEARS for a StreamyX account.

    And 2 years later when I was moving out of Serdang, they gave me a call and told me that there's finally a port available...
  • I'm the staff sales and marketing cards & unsecured lending . The purpose of sending this mail is because of complaint this sales team manager SHERENA TEO.Her personally is moody, easy to get temple, behavior and attitude not as good as. In the addition, she was compliance in doing sales. As a bank staff, we have commitment with bank and agreement but she was doing other sales as a part time job. Instead, she was helping others credit card agent doing sales .Moreover, she was calling her team’s staff helping doing sales together which is signing RHB bank 's credit card. I felt so disappointed with it. Eventually ' i hope yours will take immediate action with this compliance staff. Thank you for cooperation!

    eon bank is a suck bank.i have a housing loan with such a bank also. call is passing around until ended. web site complain no response. interest rate calculate wrongly 2 times. first time, from BLR+0.15%(correct) to BLR+1.5%(wrongly key in). second time revised, from BLR-1.6%(correct) to BLR-0.16%. this is a smart bank only focus on themselves. not to customer. after half a year i discover the thing, they refund cash around RM800 to my account directly. I dont know where to complain about this. Please go back and check properly your rate and installment amount. Hopefully not same situation as me.
