Maybank Greetings

Early morning, as I was checking into Maybank Online, I was greeted with this:

maybank2u-many-customers-online.gif

2 questions immediately popped into mind:

1) Do they know how exactly how many online maybank users they have?

2) Why is their online banking system created without catering to these number of people?

Thanks for making every moment a miserable banking experience, Maybank!

    1) Yes they do know how many people are logged in at any 1 time.

    2) The company I work for is in the midst of revamping the entire site... so stay tuned!!
  • It is better to display this "greeting" page then display a "max connection reach" error page. ;)
  • Hey Zeke, which company is that? I shall personally send them an appreciation gift :-P

Fabio, I agree that the greeting page is a better alternative, but my issue is not with the "greeting page" but it's what triggered the "greeting page" in the first place. Being one of the nation's biggest bank, I would feel that they should have invested the necessary infrastructure to support their online user base, which is after all, a huge profit center for them. But when you are as big as Maybank, it's much easier to justify to spend the Ringgit elsewhere, such as a movie production :-)
