If you still want to buy a system that comes with Windows XP, you can still do so, as Microsoft just announced that they are extending Windows XP availability until 30th June 2008.
Microsoft said it decided to extend XP sales in response to feedback from computer manufacturers who said there were customers who still wanted to buy the older operating system.
Some customers have voiced displeasure with Vista due to a lack of compatibility with existing software programs and devices. The hardware requirements needed to run Vista also are a significant upgrade from many older computers.

Although this move directly implies,” Folks, sorry about the upgrade, give us some more time and we promise we’ll make it better”, it’s a very bold move from the software giant to admit and actually response to the feedbacks from Vista users.
Really, I have no complaints about Vista. I’m running on XP! :-D
