Well, this is just not your normal robbery heist. Yeah, I know the cops got them this time, but let’s read slightly further into the robbery act.

If you are familiar with the geographical locations in Damansara Uptown, you would have realized an important fact. The Public Bank mentioned here is located along the same row as the Police Station. If you are coming from the Police Station, it’s only about 100 metres down the road.

And with RM 500,000 of robbery experience, I am pretty sure that these robbers are much smarter than to risk their life robbing the innocents near a Police station.

Has the reputation of our PDRM justice force really been tarnished so badly that even robbers are not afraid of them?

Two men believed to be part of a gang that preys on bank customers who withdraw large sums of money were arrested outside a bank in Damansara Uptown.

One of the men was also shot after the suspects drove off and tried to knock down a policeman.

The suspects were in a car some 50m from a bank when four policemen from a task force set up to monitor the gang’s activities spotted them at 3.30pm yesterday.
