Removing Windows Live Messenger Ads

Enough is enough is enough…

The Windows Live Messengers comes bundled with ads, so does most IMs. But Microsoft went a step further, they decided to bundle their IMs with INTRUSIVE ads. Their ads becomes a pop up windows that covers your running applications when you accidentally roll your mouse cursor over the ads. And it takes a bit of skills (which I am glad I acquired it from my 3 years training of CS back in MMU’s hostel life) to actually click on the small “close the window” button, and if failing to do so, opens up the ad in its fullest glory in your web browser.

That’s when I decided that enough is enough. I got to do something about it. Here’s the solution, the ultimate Messenger patcher.
