So much history behind the lens of this moment-capturing-device. More about Zeiss.
According to my friend (the current owner of this camera, it’s a camera used during WW2). The camera is entirely mechanical-operated (no need for batteries). Nothing fancy in terms of technology, but the workmanship is excellent. For features like setting the shutter speed and self-timer shooting, there’s a lever somewhere, not unlike a conventional jackpot machine.
I can imagine the countless blood spill and bullets viewed thru this lens. Maybe one strayed bullet hit the original owner and probably that’s how the camera end up here.

A very interesting piece of yesteryear’s technology.
