I was waiting for a friend at Puchong’s Old Town White Coffee. I’ve been to the Sunway Damansara Old Town and the Taipan’s Old Town, and all of them offered free wi-fi access. Yeah, if you also frequent Old Towns quite a lot, you might notice me hogging the bandwidth there (look for the IBM ThinkPad and an iconic green mouse) :-P

So, while waiting for my coffee to come, I decided to ask one of the staff what’s the password for the wi-fi access. Then he told me (while pointing his index finger to the ceiling),” Wi-fi don’t have, hi-fi got lar…”

I burst out laughing; not because of the joke he made, but mainly because I was very surprised that waiters at Old Towns are trained with so much sense of humor.

That was one funny joke I’ve heard in a while… but still, they should install wi-fi access there.
