I have to admit that I don’t dig housework chores, but it’s also something I cannot avoid, and one of the most dreaded task every week will be “Ironing”.
And for the record, I have been ironing my shirts and working pants with this old iron (and after checking with my sources- my mum, it’s about 20 years old):

Yes, for as long as I can remember, that’s what I’ve been using until yesterday- 21st May 2007, when I unpacked the newly bought “Jacuzzi Iron”:

I browsed thru the manual as quickly as I could…at least if something goes wrong, I won’t be slapped with a RTFM remark.
Filled up the water into the iron and then set the mode into “Steam Mode”.
And off I went…and it was a breeze. What normally took about 45 minutes took me just under 20 minutes to complete. But I still wasn’t very good with the “steam control”, and seeing all the steamy smoke while ironing is really a new and literally warm experience.
Still, I really recommend you to switch to Steam Mode if you haven’t already done so, and if you are like me who is still stuck to doing your own house chores, you are going to appreciate all the minutes you save from this Steam Device. No doubt it takes a little extra maintenance, like Calc-Clean and wiping off with a damp cloth after using, but the time you save is truly worth it.
I have never worked and will never be working for Philips, but I totally recommend it!
