Choice is Yours

Hmm… I guess these sort of problems do arise with the increasing readership. Meshio.Com was gettting about 300+/- pageviews and about 100+/- unique visitors on an average day. That’s a rather nice improvements since the day I started the first post. For comparison sake, it was only about 50+ pageviews and back then, most visitors are familiar acquaintances.

I was anticipating issues like this one to prop up one day, and it finally did. I am getting comments by anonymous readers who commented about how I should be running this site and why I should run it the proposed way. Well, I do respect these sort of feedbacks, but usually if you cared to leave a real email address and name, that would really make me salute you.

Of course, I do not advocate that all my readers should agree to all the content that has been posted up here and of course, if your comments are not published, please do not feel offended. This is not restricting in any way, freedom of speech (First Amendment, anyone?) but since Meshio.Com is not a publicly owned project, there’s no reason why I have to implement everyone’s opinions. Of course, I have implemented a few ideas that I feel will make this site a better place, and I am grateful to these suggestions.

You might not agree with the way certain things are implemented at Meshio.Com, but I do not imply that your suggestion is invalid. I have the freedom to run this site as much as any webmasters has their rights to maintain their own websites. And of course, you have the freedom to disagree with the way I run the site, but I would really appreciate it you keep it at the disagreeing level. Don’t tell me how I should run the site, just like how some people cringes on the thought of having to be told how they should be driving.

Really, it’s your choice, you can stop visiting this site if you find it offensive, I won’t have any hard feelings ;-)
