Sigh…some companies are more interested in showing how big they are then they are interested in showing how good they are.
I was trying to get the word out on my company’s recent expansion activities, and one of the online job posting site just amazed me with their “un-user-friendliness”. When I landed on the job site, they boast of international presence, various testimonials from “satisfied” employers, how successful their career fairs were etc.
But when I tried to do the most basic thing- post a job listing, I couldn’t find a link in the entire site that does exactly that.
This job site went all the way to raise my expectations on how “GREAT” they are, but when it comes down to solving my very basic problem of posting a job, I am clueless.
Well, it’s not all that bad, there are defnitely a handful of other online job sites out there, but really, not only they raised an expectation which they failed to keep, they also wasted 30 minutes of my time.
