I must say that 7.5% is quite a conservative figure, especially with the outstanding performance and growth of the REIT sector region wide.

You might want to read these too...AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is targeting to offer investors an annual yield of about 7.5% following the injection of new assets - to be done throughout 2007 - into the REIT’s portfolio.
AmanahRaya-JMF Asset Management, the REIT’s manager, said it would be bringing in five more properties worth about RM300mil in the next six to nine months, and another five more before end-2007 worth RM400mil to bring the REIT’s size to RM1bil.
