A feeder fund is basically a local fund that is being invested in a master fund (offshore). In this case the master fund would be the M&G Global Basics Fund, while the Prudential Global Basics Fund would be the onshore fund that rides on it.

M&G, the manager of the M&G Global Basics Fund is the European fund management arm of the Prudential group with a total of Euro 234bil under management.
Prudential will be offering 400 million units of the Prudential Global Basics Fund at 50 sen each, with a minimum initial investment of RM5,000 and subsequent investment of at least RM500.
The initial offer period is from Jan 17 to Feb 6
