Bursa talk to draw Singapore investors
Bursa Malaysia will organise a seminar to promote Malaysian stocks to retail investors in Singapore.
To be held on Sept 23, the seminar, which is jointly organised with SIAS Research of Singapore, will feature eight companies from all the three boards.
??his is the first time the target audience for a road show will be foreign retailers,” said Bursa Malaysia chief operating officer Omar Merican.
Historically, Malaysian and Singaporean companies and investors have enjoyed a close link. A number of Malaysia’s top brokers have stakes in Singapore broking companies and Singaporeans are the biggest foreign investors in Malaysia.
