Seems like there ain’t gonna be much change on the interest rate till 2007.
It’s also reported that the CPI (inflation rate) will be unlikely to rise above 4.1% during the same period.
Bank Negara leaves key interest rate unchanged…
Bank Negara has left the key interest rate unchanged at 3.5%.Inflation is expected to moderate during the remaining part of the year, Bank Negara said in a statement.
“At this stage, there are also no signs of second round effects and wage pressures.
“However, this relatively benign outlook has to be tempered by the fact that commodity and oil prices remain high and there continues to be cost driven pressures on prices,” it said.
