Back from Mt Kinabalu!

Kinabalu Rest
Finally conquered the highest peak in Borneo Island. It wasn’t an easy feat, since the entire team almost didn’t get to reach the summit due to rainy weather. The freezing temperature is the most challenging element of the entire ascent.

Nevertheless, it’s a very good experience to be standing at the top of Low’s Peak for a few minutes before the chilling wind made it impossible to stay a minute longer.

Will be actively posting again after I adapt myself back to the altitude. It’s tempting to post the incredible pictures taken during the journey to the summit, but I guess I will leave it to another post in the near future.

Congrats on conquering the highest point of SEA. Can’t wait to see your pictures and your adventure. I only managed to reach the foot when I was 9 years old… haha… Thinking of climbing up myself, but dunno when, have to plan out a fitness regime.

I recommend you to learn scuba diving. Then you will experience the highest and deepest ;)

    Heh! Thanks people!

I guess I should really give scuba diving a try, since many of my outdoor-going (not outgoing) friends has been trying to pull me down the sea level with their wonderful experiences underwater. You know, having watched Jaws since I was a kid can really put you off when it comes to going “deep sea under”…

Will post more visuals when I settle off the 1-week-piled-paperwork… :-P
