Whoops, it’s been almost a week since I posted anything. Must’ve been the Labor’s day holiday stretch.
I spend the past weekend helping out in the kitchen preparing food for about 300-person with 15 other people. Had to wake up at around 4 am in the morning and stay awake all day until dinner was served. Next time, I would just volunteer to be the food taster instead… As tiring as I was after that, it was definitely a fruitful experience. At least now I know the difference between cooking for 3 person and 300-person. I also learn how to coordinate among ourselves to ensure that the food is prepared, delivered and served right on time.

Also over the week, I managed to watch the DVD documentary series- Long Way Round. I must admit I am very inspired by the entire adventure across the continents… I highly recommend this series for people who are looking for inspirational “boost” in their life. Even if you are not looking forward to be inspired, this series can really open your eyes to the parts of the world that we know so little about.
I am not saying that after watching, you should start to plan for your version of Long Way Round (maybe from Johor Bahru to Bukit Kayu Hitam), but it will help you to see the world in a totally different perspective. In the 7-episode series, Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charley Boorman really brought out the true meaning of perseverance and determination.
What are you waiting for, go get the Long Way Round DVD now!
I shall resume my regular posting right after today. It’s been a long break since…
Oh yeah, did I mentioned how much I missed you all!!!
