The Millionaire in You!

Marc Allen
Now, you may never have thought that you can be a millionaire just by pure intentions.

Plucked from Steve’s interview with Marc Allen…

For years I feared that the pursuit of wealth would hamper my spiritual life, distract me from my spiritual path; that was one of the limiting beliefs I had that prevented me from succeeding. But I realized somewhere in my early thirties that that belief, like all others, wasn’t true in itself. There is no conflict between wealth and spirituality, unless you create it in your mind. I can pursue financial success and still have plenty of time as well for my spiritual life. And, ultimately, they’re not even two separate things: My spiritual life encompasses every moment of each day and night.

For the most part of the interview, it’s pretty much intertwined with spiritual elements and some of you might find it a bit “unconventional”.

There’s one piece of advice which I would really recommend you to start doing right after you receive the next pay check (if you haven’t already done so): Saving at least 10% of your income.

Well, it’s nothing new, but I am sure there’s a reason why it has been repeated over and over again in most of the “walkthroughs” to financial stability. A thousand miles journey begins with the first step, so if you can’t even allocate aside a little portion what you receive now, what makes you think you can reap the rewards later?
Back to the intention of attaining “Millionaire” status, I think it’s important that you first find out the purpose of you wanting to reach this goal. After that, you might want to heed Marc’s advice on the steps to get there.

“In an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way, in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all.

Anybody can use whatever methods to reach their “Millionaire” goals. There’s certainly no rights and no wrongs. You can rob your way to it, you can cheat your way up, scam others along the way or you can just do it honestly. You might think nobody cares anyway, since the idea is to reach the goal, by hook or by crook. Just like how people are willing to risk cheating in exams.

I believe it is true only if you are only concerned about the success or failure of your actions, not the actions itself. If the actions you have taken to reach your goal only benefited yourself, and compromised the people around you, I think reaching that “Millionaire” goal don’t make you a better person, and you won’t actually experience any significant growth in itself.

So, after reading through the interview, do you think it’s possible for you to become a millionaire?

I believe it depends pretty much on how much you believe in your own intentions and how strongly you feel about the goal itself. Marc Allen had a strong reason to support his daily habits of attaining that Millionaire target- to be able to write books and produce his own music. What’s yours?
