dudues... there's a lot more to save money...

talking specifically for fresh grads whom i assume wouldn't have much dependings and commitment ( unless family commitments)

here's my bit of tips :

1. If you are not from KL... then stay in ur uncles & aunties hse.
be at least kind enouf to pay the water or electric bills.
     You'l save at least RM100 .

2. Try to drink 'air suam' once every twice u eat in a shop ( i believe
freshmans would take lunch once & another lepakin session in the mamaks ) You could space sum cash there.

3. Try to use Digi postpaid. Subline under your friends or fly members.. haha.. and i'm not a digi sales person..
But if saves me some money...

4. Try to plan your spendings during clubs. Quite often i see young ppl splashing out cash on bottles lavishly during peak hours..
Man.. Go in before 10 and get it for happy hours.

5. And guys... last but not least.. utilize Petaling Street 'Mall'....

This is some of the things which i could brain storm for now ....
oh rite got to catch up on work.. :-)

I think it is very important to know the difference of "need" and "want" to be able to save. Alot of people I know (including myself sometimes) seem to think of my "wants" as "needs" and that my friend is all it takes.

Also, being abit more intelligent in spending will help save. As for having a partner, exspenses have to be shared if the relationship were to suceed. If your partner doesn't get it, then say bye bye. This only applies to regular people who earn regular wages.

Ahem...your profile is not included in my sampling data.

However, it will be a good idea to have an interview on how you actually did that.

Pfft, your observation is way off.

I have no car and no gf and didn't make any effort to look for one. My savings can last me 3-4 years.
