Income Replacement

I ‘ve recently attended a 1-day workshop on Income Replacement. The workshop basically discusses about the importance of setting up an income replacement fund which can help family members to go through difficult time whenever the breadwinner(s) of the family loses the ability to earn income.

It’s important to ensure that while today, you are an asset to the family (due to your ability to earn income), you should also make the necessary financial preparations if you become a liability the next day. This basic responsibility is the least we can do for our loved ones.

While in the workshop, we are assigned some group discussions to come up with some concepts that would best illustrate the idea of Income Replacement. As usual, I believe it’s easier to illustrate concepts with visual aids than to write long-winding definitions and technical terms. Here’s something my team came up with, and I felt that it might look pretty in 3D:
