I have no intention to alienate myself from the rest of the human race on this planet who consumes meat as part of their diet.

I didn’t abstain myself from meat due to religious reasons, it’s just that I believe if we can continue to live healthily, survive and function 100% without meat, why are we taking the lives of these livestocks? I am quite sure it’s not just to put food on the table. Meat industry, anyone?
