I normally don’t like to opine on the way how some direct sales company go about selling their products, as I feel that it’s not fair to stereotype and label all of them as some kind of getting rich quick pyramid schemes.
However, one of them did cross the line when they approach my brother who is still in his secondary school. No doubt this eventually distracted him from his original course and basic responsibility, which is to complete his studies before start looking for money. I am definitely very annoyed with all the “materialistic” promises that they start preaching all these secondary school students, and it got worse when my brother starts asking for money to fund his “business”…
If there’s one word that I can use to label these Lampe Berger salespeople, it’s DESPERATE.
For the sake of the society, please stop recruiting students who has yet to fulfil their primary responsibilities. Let them complete their secondary education. STOP brainwashing them with all the materialistic junks which has created so much fake hope and dreams.
