As some of you might have noticed, this site has been down for almost a week.
Some morons succeeded to hacked into one of the security loopholes in the PHP forum which I installed a while back, through the “viewtopic.php” script and did a DOS attack on Google. I have no idea what satisfaction one can get from such activity, but it has resulted in lost productivity to many parties, and also cost me my free hosting.
I am now hosted with www.exabytes.com.my. So far, I must say I am very impressed with their service, before and after payment.
With RM 199, I’ve got 2 GBytes of storage and 10 SQL databases to play with. Also, it comes with webmail solution, which I already have. It really is a good bargain, at least for now, and it has lots of ready-made features, such as FTP Account Manager, Web Stats, Subdomains to name a few.
Alas, I am still trying to setup my first database with my new host, and so far it’s not working yet. Maybe I need more time to figure out how it’s done.
