I remember the fantastic dining experience a year ago in Singapore with a group of friends in Marche, which is in the same building with the giant CD store HMV, and when I heard there was a branch opening in The Curve, I had been looking forward for a similar experience.
Unfortunately, the Marche in The Curve’s experience turned out to be one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever frequented. First of all, the selection of food was lousy; compared to the Marche I knew from Singapore. Then there were no pizzas! So we ordered Spaghetti, and we are served the oiliest spaghetti I??e ever seen, and it definitely don?? seem very healthy.
Also, the service was bad, really bad! No one bothered to set the table. We?? to get spoons and forks from other tables. The chef ain?? much friendly either, not bothering to even look at you as you stare at their menus. So much for the 10% service tax??r
We ended up leaving the damned restaurant in a hungrier state than we came in.
This definitely ends my experience with Marche for the time being. It really was a very disappointing experience.
By the way, while we were in the restaurant, even for the short 15 minutes, there was a customer over at the other table complaining how bad his fried seafood was??nd I thought he was picky!
